Audi India Hints at Next-Gen Q3 with Aggressive Design and Advanced Features
Audi India has released a teaser for the next-generation Q3, showcasing a bold new design and advanced technology. The SUV is expected to retain its 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine with AWD and be priced around Rs 60 lakh ex-showroom, competing with the Mercedes-Benz GLA and BMW X1.
Audi India has unveiled a teaser for the upcoming next-generation Q3, offering a glimpse of its aggressive design ahead of its official launch. The new model will replace the current second-generation Q3, which has been in the market for four years, and is set to spearhead the brand’s product lineup in India. ## **Bold Exterior and Tech-Laden Interior** The next-gen Q3 will feature a striking exterior design, departing from its predecessor’s traditional styling. The global-spec version introduces a split headlamp setup, a larger hexagonal grille with a 2D Audi badge, and sculpted wheel arches. The rear also adopts a split-lamp design with a connected LED strip and an illuminated Audi emblem. While the global model offers wheel sizes up to 20 inches, the India-spec version is likely to come with 18-inch wheels. Inside, the cabin has been completely revamped with advanced technology. A dominant 11.9-inch digital driver’s display and a 12.8-inch infotainment screen take center stage. The new three-spoke steering wheel features a unique column-mounted stalk setup for light and wiper controls, while the dashboard is angled toward the driver. Expected features include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a panoramic sunroof, powered and ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera, and Level 2 ADAS. ## **Powertrain and Pricing** Under the hood, the India-spec Q3 is expected to retain the current model’s 2.0-litre direct-injection turbo-petrol engine, delivering 204hp and 320Nm of torque. The engine will be paired with a 7-speed DCT gearbox and Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system. With the generational update, Audi is likely to price the new Q3 from **Rs 60 lakh (ex-showroom)**. The SUV will continue to rival the Mercedes-Benz GLA and the BMW X1 in the premium compact SUV segment.
