Hyundai to Raise Prices Across Portfolio in September 2026
Hyundai India announces a price increase of up to 1% across its lineup starting September 2026, citing rising costs and economic uncertainties. This marks the third hike in 2026, with adjustments varying by model and variant.

Hyundai India has revealed plans to raise prices across its entire vehicle lineup beginning in September 2026. The automaker attributes the decision to escalating input and commodity costs, higher operational expenses, and ongoing geopolitical and macroeconomic challenges. The increase will affect all models, with a maximum rise of 1%.
## Price Adjustments and Model Impact
The price adjustments will vary depending on the model and variant, with increases ranging from Rs 7,767 to Rs 23,672. Hyundai has not disclosed the new prices for individual models but confirmed that the hike will be marginal. The company has been working to optimize costs and absorb some of the rising expenses to minimize the impact on customers. However, the persistent cost pressures have made it necessary to pass on a portion of these costs to buyers.
Hyundai currently offers 10 models in India, though specific pricing details for each were not provided in the announcement.
## Third Price Increase in 2026
This upcoming price adjustment will be Hyundai’s third in 2026, following earlier revisions in June and January of the same year. The automaker has emphasized that the latest increase is a response to sustained financial pressures, aiming to balance cost management with customer affordability.
