Honda is preparing to launch the first facelift for its Elevate SUV in October 2026. The updated model will compete in India's fiercely competitive mid-size SUV segment.

The changes will be evolutionary. The overall shape will stay the same, but the SUV will receive a mild design makeover. Expect revisions to the bumpers, alloy wheels, and lighting elements. The front end may get subtle updates inspired by Honda's newer global design language, while the tail-lamps could feature revised graphics.

Cabin and Feature Upgrades

The interior is set for more significant updates. Honda is expected to introduce a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen, matching the unit in the updated City sedan. New upholstery and cabin trim are also likely, aiming to modernize the cabin without a complete dashboard redesign.

More importantly, the facelift will address notable feature gaps. The 360-degree camera and ventilated front seats, currently only available as accessories, are expected to become factory-fitted options. Honda has indicated it could move these popular items into the main equipment list.

Safety and Driver Assistance

The SUV's Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) package is also in line for an upgrade. The current Elevate is equipped with Honda Sensing, which includes adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, and autonomous emergency braking. The facelifted model is expected to receive a more advanced Level 2 ADAS package, similar to the one introduced on the new City. The exact feature list and variant-wise availability remain unconfirmed.

Powertrain and Rivals

Under the hood, no major changes are anticipated. The report states the facelift will continue with the familiar 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. It produces 121 hp and is paired with either a six-speed manual or a CVT automatic. Earlier speculation about a hybrid version has been set aside; current information indicates the facelift will not introduce a hybrid powertrain.

The updated Elevate will continue to rival several established models in its segment. Its key competitors and their expected price range are listed below.

Final pricing for the Honda Elevate facelift will be announced closer to its October launch date.
