Isuzu D-Max updated for 2026 with new tech
Isuzu Philippines has updated its D-Max pickup truck for the 2026 model year, introducing revised styling, a more premium interior, and enhanced camera

Isuzu Philippines has unveiled updates for the 2026 D-Max pickup truck, focusing on styling, interior technology, and advanced camera systems. The third-generation model receives what the company describes as "nip-and-tuck improvements" to keep it competitive in the market.
First launched in the Philippines in 2003, the D-Max has been a consistent sales leader in its segment. The latest updates aim to build on that reputation for dependability with more modern features.
Exterior and interior styling
The front grille has been revised with a new three-slot design. The lighting system now incorporates subtle gray accents within its bi-LED headlamps and rear combination lamps. The fog light housings also feature redesigned bezels.
Inside, the cabin receives a more premium treatment with new seat patterns. A central upgrade is the updated 10.1-inch infotainment display, which features an improved user interface. The source states the new layout has clearer and more intuitive visuals.
Enhanced camera and safety systems
The standout new feature is an enhanced Around View Monitor, which now includes an underbody view. Isuzu Philippines says this makes handling rocky paths or tight urban parking lots easier. The vehicle also comes with a built-in digital video recorder to provide evidence in the event of a collision.
These camera features work alongside the existing advanced driver-assist system, which uses Smart Duo cameras and rear radars. Standard systems include adaptive cruise control, pedal misapplication mitigation, blind-spot monitoring, and lane-departure warning. Autonomous emergency braking and rear cross-traffic braking are exclusive to the top LS-E variant.
Powertrain and pricing
The mechanical lineup remains unchanged, offering two four-cylinder turbodiesel engines. These are the 1.9-liter RZ4E, which will soon be available in LS form, and the 3.0-liter 4JJ3, available on the LS-A and LS-E trims. The truck continues to be offered in both 4x2 and 4x4 configurations.
The updated D-Max is now available with new pricing, starting below 1.8 million Philippine pesos. The full price list for the lifestyle-oriented models is as follows:
| Variant | Price (PHP) |
|---|---|
| 4×2 LS-A MT Plus | 1,796,000 |
| 4×2 LS-A AT Plus | 1,880,000 |
| 4×4 LS-A MT Plus | 2,160,000 |
| 4×2 LS-E AT | 2,094,000 |
| 4×4 LS-E AT | 2,394,000 |
Isuzu Philippines concludes that the updated D-Max has the appearance and brute force to match or top its rivals. This branded article was produced in partnership with the automaker.
