Lexus NX 2026 facelift debuts with new
Lexus has unveiled a major 2026 facelift for its NX SUV, featuring updated styling, a new interior with a 14-inch touchscreen, and enhanced hybrid

Lexus has launched a significant update for its NX SUV, known as the Minorchange 2026 model. The facelift, which debuted on 1 September 2026, brings comprehensive exterior and interior redesigns alongside new-generation hybrid powertrains.
The updated NX adopts the "Discover Your Edge" concept and a "Vital Tech" design philosophy. Lexus has sharpened the SUV's signature side profile lines to add a more aggressive stance. Inside, the cabin aims for a light, airy, and comfortable feel.
Interior and technology
The interior is dominated by a 12.3-inch full digital instrument cluster and a large 14-inch central touchscreen, with a design theme said to be similar to the larger Lexus ES. Ambient lighting with multiple color themes-Inspire, Radiance, and Revitalize-adds to the atmosphere, which is complemented by a premium Mark Levinson sound system. The car also features an in-car fragrance system with five scent options: Tenko (woody), Keifu (green), Seiyo (floral), Hanya (aroma), and Shinmei (citrus).
Dimensions and powertrain specifications
The 2026 Lexus NX retains its core dimensions. The SUV is 4,690 mm long, 1,865 mm wide, and 1,660 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,690 mm. The major changes are under the hood, with Lexus introducing new-generation hybrid systems.
| Model | Engine | Total Power | Drivetrain | 0-100 km/h Time |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| NX 300h | 2.0L 4-cylinder petrol hybrid | 197 hp | FWD | 9.2 seconds |
| NX 350h | 2.5L 4-cylinder petrol hybrid | 245 hp | FWD / AWD | 7.1 sec (FWD), 7.8 sec (AWD) |
| NX 450h+ | 2.5L 4-cylinder plug-in hybrid | 326 hp | AWD | 6.0 seconds |
The NX 300h uses a 2.0-liter hybrid system paired with an e-CVT transmission. The more powerful NX 350h employs a 2.5-liter hybrid unit, available with either front-wheel or all-wheel drive.
The flagship is the new-generation plug-in hybrid, the NX 450h+. This model combines a 2.5-liter engine with an electric motor for a total output of 326 horsepower, sent to all four wheels via an e-CVT. Lexus claims it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.0 seconds.
Electric range and charging
A key figure for the plug-in hybrid is its electric-only driving range. According to the source, the NX 450h+ can travel up to 100 kilometers on electric power alone under the WLTP test cycle. The vehicle also supports DC fast charging for its battery pack.
The original NX, with the AZ20 chassis code, first launched in June 2021 and is built on the Toyota New Global Architecture GA-K platform. This 2026 update represents its first major refresh.
