Mitsubishi launches limited Triton Savana

Mitsubishi Brazil has launched the Triton Savana Sertões, a new limited-edition variant of its pickup truck. This marks the third special edition Triton the company has released in Brazil this year, following the Terra in May and the BF///MS in July, according to the source.

The new model draws its name and inspiration from the Rally dos Sertões, a famous Brazilian off-road competition that has been running since 1993. To match its rally pedigree, the truck comes with a suite of equipment designed to enhance its off-road capability.

Off-Road & Exterior Features

Underbody protection is a key focus for this special edition. The Triton Savana Sertões is fitted with front and rear skid plates. It also gets two-step rock-resistant side steps. All of these components are coated with a scratch-resistant X-Liner substance. A snorkel is added, raising the vehicle's maximum wading depth to 800 millimeters.

Further additions include a roof rack rated to carry up to 50 kg, which comes with a shovel and anti-slip mats for recovery situations. Visually, the truck is finished in a Cinza Concrete silver body color, accented with orange and Satin Grey details. It rides on new-design 18-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac RT all-terrain tires.

Interior & Standard Equipment

The cabin continues the themed styling with a black interior highlighted by orange stitching and orange accents throughout. A model-specific logo is placed on the dashboard. Standard equipment for this variant includes a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment display, rear passenger ceiling air vents, and a 360-degree camera system.

Powertrain & Pricing

Power comes from the familiar 2.4-liter 4N16 twin-turbo diesel engine. It produces 205 horsepower and 470 Newton-meters of torque. This is paired with a six-speed INVECS-II automatic transmission and Mitsubishi's Super Select 4WD-II four-wheel-drive system. The drivetrain is further equipped with a rear differential lock and offers seven selectable drive modes.

Mitsubishi Brazil has set the price for the Triton Savana Sertões at 339,990 Brazilian reals (approximately 2,169,000 Thai baht).
