Jeep Compass 85th Anniversary Edition Launched in India

Jeep introduces a limited-edition Compass 85th Anniversary Edition in India, priced at Rs 26.70 lakh (ex-showroom). Based on the Model S (O) trim, it features exclusive decals, black alloy wheels, an all-black cabin with gold accents, and optional accessory packs. Powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine, it offers both manual and automatic transmissions, along with FWD and 4WD setups.

Jeep has launched the Compass 85th Anniversary Edition in India to celebrate 85 years of the brand. Based on the higher-spec Model S (O) trim, this special edition is priced at Rs 26.70 lakh (ex-showroom) and is limited to just 85 units. It stands out with unique exterior decals, black alloy wheels, and an all-black interior with gold accents, along with additional features.

Exterior and Interior Updates

The Compass 85th Anniversary Edition features subtle yet distinctive exterior changes, including '85' decals on the doors, tailgate, and wheel hub caps. It also comes with gloss-black 18-inch alloy wheels. The rest of the exterior remains unchanged, retaining features like LED headlights with eyebrow-shaped DRLs, a black grille with seven slats, LED fog lamps, and LED tail-lights.

Inside, the cabin is dressed in an all-black theme with Mayan Gold accents for contrast. The seats are upholstered in black leatherette with gold stitching, and the gold hue extends to the ambient lighting and the illumination on the panoramic sunroof’s sides. The edition also offers an optional 85th Anniversary AXS accessory pack, which includes illuminated elements on the panoramic sunroof, a digital inside rearview mirror (IRVM), and front and rear dashcams.

Other features mirror those of the standard Compass, such as powered and ventilated front seats, a memory function for the driver’s seat, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 9-speaker Alpine sound system, dual-zone climate control, and a wireless phone charger.

Powertrain and Pricing

The Compass 85th Anniversary Edition retains the same powertrain as the standard Model S (O). It is powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine that delivers 170hp and 350Nm. Buyers can choose between a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic transmission, with the latter also available with a four-wheel-drive (4WD) option.

Priced identically to the Model S (O) trim, the Jeep Compass 85th Anniversary Edition is now available for bookings at Jeep dealerships across India and on the Jeep India website. However, the price of the optional 85th Anniversary AXS accessory pack has not yet been announced.
