MG Hector Blackstorm and Snowstorm Storm Series Launched
JSW MG Motor has launched the 2026 Hector Blackstorm and Snowstorm editions, priced at Rs. 19,99,800 each, as limited-run models with distinct styling and enhanced ownership packages.

JSW MG Motor has announced two new special-edition Hector models, Blackstorm and Snowstorm, as part of the limited-run Storm Series. The launch was announced on October 7, 2026, with both editions priced at Rs. 19,99,800 (ex-showroom).
Exterior styling and visual themes
The Blackstorm features an all-black exterior theme. The Snowstorm uses Pearl White paint paired with a Starry Black roof.
Both editions share a cohesive visual upgrade. They get a new black Storm Hex grille and dark chrome treatment for the brand logos, skid plates, tailgate, and body cladding. LED headlamps feature piano black bezels. Further black garnishes are applied to the front and rear bumpers. The models also come with piano black roof rails and smoked connected tail lamps.
Wheels, brakes and accessories
Red brake calipers are fitted behind the exclusive Aura Storm Blade alloy wheels. An optional dealer-fitted Storm Series accessory pack is available at no additional cost.
This package adds edition-specific badges, red tailgate accents, and red-accented fog lamp eye shadows. It also includes ORVM protectors and side step boards. The red detailing on the accessories matches the brake calipers.
Interior and technology features
Inside, both editions feature Nimbus Black interiors with black leather upholstery. The front headrests carry Blackstorm or Snowstorm embossing. A leather-wrapped steering wheel with a gunmetal finish is standard.
The technology suite is comprehensive. It includes a 35.56 cm portrait HD touchscreen and a 17.78 cm digital instrument cluster. MG's Smart Boost technology improves system processing speed and responsiveness. I-SWIPE gesture controls allow operation of air conditioning, music, and navigation using two- and three-finger gestures.
Comfort and connected features are retained. These include eight-colour ambient lighting, an integrated air purifier with a PM2.5 filter, and rain-sensing wipers. The i-Smart connected suite provides remote access to audio, air conditioning, and ambient lighting, along with predictive maintenance alerts and a digital Bluetooth key.
Mechanics, transmission and ownership support
Mechanically, neither edition departs from the regular Hector. Both are five-seaters powered by a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine. This engine produces 143 PS and 250 Nm of torque. It is mated exclusively to a CVT automatic transmission.
The safety package is extensive. It includes a 360-degree HD camera, wheel view, ABS, EBD, electronic stability control, traction control, hill-hold control, brake assist, and ADAS.
JSW MG Motor is supporting the launch with aggressive ownership benefits. "JSW MG Motor has today announced the launch of the 2026 Hector Blackstorm and Snowstorm editions," the company said. The MG Shield 3+3+3 package provides a three-year unlimited-kilometre warranty, three years of roadside assistance, and three labour-free periodic services. Extended warranty, additional roadside assistance, and prepaid Protect maintenance plans are also available.
Buyers can get financing of up to 100 per cent of the on-road price for as long as 84 months, with the same support applying to edition-specific accessories.
