MINI Cooper S Oxford Edition launches in Malaysia
MINI Malaysia has launched a limited-run Cooper S Oxford Edition to mark 25 years of production at Plant Oxford.
MINI Malaysia has introduced the exclusive Cooper S Oxford Edition, a model celebrating 25 years of MINI production at its Plant Oxford facility. Just six units are allocated for the Malaysian market, with pricing starting from RM289,888 without insurance.
The special edition commemorates the anniversary of the 'New Mini', which first rolled off the line at the Cowley, Oxfordshire plant in 2001. According to MINI Malaysia, the Oxford Edition is based on the standard F66-generation Cooper S 3-Door.
Pricing and availability
Customers face a RM6,000 premium over the regular Cooper S 3-Door model. The base price includes a standard two-year, unlimited-mileage warranty. An optional MINI Service and Repair Inclusive (MSRI) package extends coverage to four years and includes a service plan, raising the total price to RM300,288.

Design and exclusive features
The limited-run model features distinctive Union Jack graphics on the roof, bonnet, and rear. Matching Union Jack designs are found on the wheel hub caps, tyre valves, and the badge at the base of the steering wheel. The side sills and floor mats also receive themed detailing, and the key fob completes the look.
Only three exterior colours are offered: Chili Red, Indigo Sunset Blue, and Blazing Blue. Each colour is limited to just two units nationwide.
Each purchase includes the MINI Lifestyle Oxford Capsule. This bundle contains a traveller bag, T-shirts, a cap, MINI Oxford stickers, and an umbrella, all styled to reflect the brand's character.
Standard Cooper S specifications
Mechanically, the Oxford Edition is identical to the standard car. It uses a B48 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine producing 204 PS and 300 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels via a seven-speed wet dual-clutch transmission.
The model retains the full equipment list of the Cooper S 3-Door. This includes adaptive LED headlights, matrix LED taillights, and 18-inch Slide Spoke two-tone alloy wheels. The interior features black Vecsin faux leather upholstery and a 9.4-inch OLED infotainment touchscreen.
Other standard equipment comprises a head-up display, a Qi wireless charger, and a Harman Kardon sound system. Safety and driver assistance features include a 360-degree camera and an ADAS suite with autonomous emergency braking (AEB) and adaptive cruise control (ACC).
The launch shows the brand's focus on limited-edition models for its Malaysian lineup, offering exclusivity through bespoke styling and a curated accessories package.
