BMW F 450 GS Prices Increased in India by Up to Rs 30,000
BMW has raised prices for its F 450 GS adventure bike in India by Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000 across its three variants, following strong domestic and export

BMW has increased the prices of its F 450 GS adventure motorcycle in India by up to Rs 30,000. The hike, which affects all three variants of the bike launched earlier this year, is reportedly due to rising production costs.
The price increase could also signal a potential resumption of bookings, which were temporarily halted in June 2026. The source states this pause was likely due to increased demand both in India and in export markets like Europe. BMW has not issued an official statement on the matter.
The F 450 GS has seen strong global demand since its introduction, emerging as a preferred option in the booming sub-500cc adventure bike segment. The bike is currently manufactured only in India, which the report suggests could create pressure to meet high international orders.
New Price List
The price hike applies uniformly across the model range with no accompanying equipment upgrades. The new prices are as follows:
| Variant | Old Price (Rs lakh) | Price Increase (Rs) | New Price (Rs lakh) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Base | 4.70 | 25,000 | 4.95 |
| Exclusive | 4.90 | 25,000 | 5.15 |
| GS Trophy | 5.30 | 30,000 | 5.60 |
Specifications and Features Remain Unchanged
While prices have risen, the motorcycle's technical specifications are unaltered. Power comes from a 420cc, twin-cylinder engine producing 48 hp and 43 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed transmission. The bike offers Rain, Road, and Enduro ride modes.
Its chassis is a steel tube frame with the engine acting as a stressed member, complemented by a steel tube sub-frame. Suspension duties are handled by 43 mm USD forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear. Braking is via discs at both ends with ABS Pro.
The feature list includes ride-by-wire technology, an anti-hopping clutch, dynamic traction control (DTC), and dynamic engine brake control (MSR). A 6.5-inch colour TFT instrument display serves as the tech hub. Other amenities comprise heated grips, a Type-C USB port, and Bluetooth connectivity.
Variant-Specific Details
The base and Exclusive variants are offered in a Cosmic Black colour. The top-spec GS Trophy variant, which the report says has the highest demand in India and abroad, wears a Racing Blue finish.
This variant also gets exclusive equipment such as a sport suspension, an Easy Ride Clutch (ERC), white hand protectors, a tinted Rallye windshield, a white chassis, and an aluminium engine guard. Standard features across the line include one key for all locks and adjustable brake, clutch, and handbrake levers.
The bike continues to be positioned competitively in markets like Europe, where it targets the popular A2 license category.
