Reviews: Maruti Suzuki is providing promotional benefits of up to Rs

Maruti Suzuki has launched a series of new promotional offers for September, providing total benefits of up to Rs. 1.35 lakh on cars sold via its Arena network. The report from Gaadiwaadi details the savings available on various models, with the most substantial discount offered on the Maruti Victoris.

These benefits are a combination of immediate cash discounts, bonuses for exchanging an old car, and incentives linked to scrappage or corporate sales. Not every model in the lineup is included, however. The recently launched Brezza, the Ertiga, and the standard Dzire sedan are listed as having no offers this month.

Available Discounts By Model

The promotional structure is complex, with different maximum savings for each vehicle. The following table compares the starting ex-showroom price and the maximum possible savings for each model mentioned in the source report.

Breakdown Of Benefit Types

Savings are not a single flat discount. They are accumulated from multiple potential offers. A typical package for models like the S-Presso, Alto K10, and Celerio includes a cash discount, an exchange bonus, and a choice between a PCM bonus or a scrappage bonus. An additional small discount is offered for institutional or rural buyers on several models.

For example, on the base WagonR, customers can get a Rs. 20,000 cash discount, an exchange bonus of up to Rs. 15,000, and either a Rs. 10,000 PCM bonus or a Rs. 10,000 scrappage bonus. Adding the institutional or rural discount brings the potential total to Rs. 57,500. The taxi version of the WagonR, the Tour H3, has a larger cash discount of up to Rs. 45,000, enabling higher total savings.

Top-Tier And Excluded Models

The most significant offer is on the Maruti Victoris. Buyers can save up to Rs. 1.35 lakh through a combination of a Rs. 20,000 cash discount, an exchange bonus of up to Rs. 50,000, a choice of a Rs. 25,000 PCM bonus or a Rs. 45,000 scrappage bonus, a loyalty bonus of up to Rs. 30,000, and an institutional discount of Rs. 10,000.

In contrast, some popular models are not part of the September promotion. The source states there are no offers on the new Maruti Brezza, which starts at Rs. 7,39,900, or on the Ertiga MPV and its taxi version, the Tour M. The standard Maruti Dzire sedan also has no offer, though its taxi variant, the Tour S, has an exchange and PCM bonus totaling Rs. 25,000. The report was published by Gaadiwaadi on September 6, 2026.
